Candidate Testimonials

‘‘Hey Claire

We have both been getting plenty of shifts this week which is great as we need to replenish our severly depleted banks accounts. The people at Mayfair are great, thanks for putting us onto them. We will let you know what our plans are when we decide what we are doing.

thanks again
Nathan and Jess

‘‘Hi Folks

Have just finished my second placement. I have just gone with a new agency called ‘Country Cousins’. I knew about them before I left the country but thought, by the name, it was only country placements and it sounded so corny. I was wrong. They are a top notch agency. They pay better than I was I was getting and are very good to deal with. Should have gone with them earlier.

Any my next placement is, wait for it, Windsor Castle. Can you believe it? I will be caring for a Major there. The placement is for 10 days but I will have the option of returning later if I wish. The Queen spends a lot of time there. Maybe the major and her are great pals and she might visit? I don’t mind putting the kettle on for her.

Catch you all again later
Irene xx

‘‘Dear Claire,

I would just like to thank you for all your help and to also let you know that Kelly and myself really appreciate all the time and effort that Worldwide Health put into helping us in London especially Angela.

Thankyou again and take care. Will send you a postcard from our first holiday

Rebecca Shearman

‘‘Dear Tony

With heartfelt thanks, you have found for me, without a doubt, not just the best job I have ever had, but the one with the best opportunities for the future.

You supported me and encouraged me through my protracted process of decision-making, but without my feeling pressured. I hope your ability to match the right person to the right situation is fully recognised.

I have enjoyed a very happy first day at work, and now need a team of nurses to back me up asap. Please call me at FirstCare tomorrow to discuss this - you have the number!

Kindest regards
Hilary ( RGN, working in London)

‘‘Hi Claire

Thank you for your email. Well heading back to work after having nearly two months off was quite hard, but everything is going well. I have got 6 shifts booked this week, so that will keep me busy.

Everything has worked out well, I haven’t any problems at this stage.

I will keep in touch.

Thanks
Lisa (RGN, working Mayfair London)

‘‘Dear Tatiana,

I just write to say my big thank you for all your help with getting me a new job. Care Principles is a great company and I really enjoy working for them, and I will always keep in my memory that I got this position only because of your help. I wish you all the best in whole of your life)

Lukasz
(Care Worker from Poland)

‘‘Hello I am currently in the process of having a couple of pints in old London Town. Alls well that ends well and alls well with me at present. My accommodation is good and the work is all I expected even though I can’t do IV drugs yet. The bank account has been a bit of a hassle but its open now. Thanks again.

Ian
(RGN, working permanent position in Hertfordshire)

‘‘Hello Becky,

I would like to thank you very much for all of your efforts in seeing the transition here go smoothly. I thank you for arranging the meet and greet at the airport which was sooooooooooo soooooooooo very helpful! It would have taken me forever to make my way out of the airport. The lady who met me was very helpful in assisting me to the buses so I could find my way to the hospital. Again my sincerest thanks to all of your team who helped me in obtaining employment, and making it so easy!

Sincerely Yours

Barb
(Canadian RGN, working in Hertfordshire)

‘‘Hello from France. Just a short note to keep in touch and let you know coming to the UK was/is the best decision I could have ever made. I am enjoying my work very much and am made to feel very welcome here. Work is busy but nothing I can’t handle, the small 15 bed wards must be the reason. I go home still feeling fresh. The hospitals are still very short of trained staff.

I have been having some great times travelling. I went to Carlisle, Hadrians Wall, Blackpool and France, Normandie during September. Coming up for October is Paris and Scotland. This next two days off I am going to Durham and Beamish on a coach tour (recommended by German and NZ girls boarding at the same place as I am). I hear Brisbane won the Aussie Rules Grandfinal, back to back.

Must away now, if I can be of assistance in encouraging anyone who is undecided about making the trip I am only glad to do so.’’

Regards, Patricia (Rockhampton, Qld)

‘‘Just a note of thanks for all your perseverance and efforts in assisting me with my Nursing Registration. I have really appreciated everything you have done for me. It has been quite a frustrating time for you and me both. Wishing you a prosperous Xmas and New Year also. Warm Regards.’’

Liz (Australian RN worked as a temp through BNA)

‘‘Thank you very much for your kind care and help. My best regards from Ukraine, Yulya.’’

(RN placed at Eastbourne District General Hospital)

‘‘I hope all is well with you and that you are enjoying the festive season. I am enjoying returning to the UK and working hard at R.U.H. I have visited Cornwall and plan a trip to London later. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to return to the UK and work.’’

Best wishes. Helen G.

‘‘Thank you for your help and your teams help making my move to the Isle of Man go as smoothly as possible. Thank You.’’

Carenna. (RN placed at Nobles Hospital, Isle of Man)

‘‘There are no adequate words to thank you enough for all you have done. You have shown so much concern, thoughtfulness and generosity may god reward you abundantly. Thanks so much.’’

Iyabode (RN placed at Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading)

‘‘May I take this opportunity of personally thanking you all for your help, advice and assistance that your have afforded me in such a professional manner since my first contact with you back in March. My wife Mary and I are really excited about coming to the Island and working in the new hospital and both feel that it is a tremendous opportunity for the both of us. We may meet when you come over and I look forward to that.

Once again many thanks and I wish you continued success for the future.’’

Tim (RN placed at Nobles Hospital, Isle of Man)

‘‘A thousand thank-yous for all you’ve done for me - I’m forever in your debt!! The two Dave’s are wonderful in CCU as indeed are all the staff and I’m so looking forward to starting. Best Wishes.’’

Elizabeth (RN placed at Nobles Hospital, Isle of Man)

‘‘Thanks Angela, you are a legend!

I would send you a box full of caramello koala’s but they would melt before I got them home (or my friend Nicole and I would eat them).

I am thankful and endebted, you are the most committed person I have come across when it comes to finding tax related documentation aside from my mother, who has her tax documents from the 80’s somewhere in her cupboard.

Thanks again.’’

Carolyn. (Australian RN, working as an agency nurse in London)

Excerpt’s from Angii (a Pinnacle International nurse) emails about her travels.

‘‘Most nights were spent checking out the local pubs and trying out the famous Guinness...

It is seriously creamier and yummier and smoother drinking it here in Ireland... a must do...

Most pubs have live local Irish music playing with very gifted irish musicians... on the third night we spent in a sea side town called Doolin... serenaded by traditional irish ballads…..we were ready by the end of the night to fall for any Irish lad by then... Doolin... is a very charming very Irish... the sea view to the Atlantic ocean was amazing.’’

‘‘I was in Switzerland for a total of 2 glorious fresh weeks... all by myself... on a bus-about adventure...

Think of Switzerland, think chocolate, think beautiful Swiss alps, hunky dory blondes, the hills are alive adventures... all so so so true.

In Switzerland they think small is beautiful, indeed it is the motto in Switzerland and truly for such a tiny country it is the most diverse and interesting in Europe...’’

‘‘Istanbul was the city of dreams, of dynamism and culture. Its like no other city I have been to or visited... we just manage to explore the city wall and mosque and palaces…everywhere we went we were stopped and asked "where are you from?" "what is your name?" etc... everyone wants to practice their English... they speak very good English as well.’’

‘‘Hi Claire,

Well, it's hard to believe that 8 (originally 6) months has gone by so quickly. It doesn't seem so long ago I was about to embark on the most terrifying venture of my life and now I'm about to head home. It has been just so incredible, life changing to say the least. It's fairly common place for the youngies like yourself to do this but VERY daunting at my age believe me.

I have had an absolute ball as I hope my few emails to you have indicated. I truly want to thank you for all your support and encouragment esp initially and on my arrival. I can thoroughly endorse Pinnacle International to anyone and I've sung the praises of the organisation to everyone. I did a lot of travelling over here and visited places I've only dreamed about it. It's been so satisfying to realise a life long dream.

If I can assist in encouraging anyone, esp of my age group to do this, then please feel free to give them my contact details. I would love to help. I'll try and visit when I get back. I'd like to thank you personally.’’

great regards, Irene xx
